MakeTorrent 2.1.0.0 is a program for creating .torrents (Bittorrent metadata files).
This way you can share content with others using any torrent client.
You can build torrent files from any data saved in your drives. You can use two modes: Simple or Classic.
The Simple mode allows you to pick the files you want in the .torrent by selecting them from your drives. Then, you must choose the tracker you want to use from a drop-down list. You can include a comment if you want. You can set the size of the pieces to upload, or just leave the Auto value, and the program will set this value automatically. When you´re done, you can begin the process pressing the "Create .torrent now!" button. The program will then hash the files and write the .torrent file in the drive you choose. You can later upload that torrent to any server.
You can also edit the torrents made with the program, in order to change anything, using the View/Edit tab.
The Classic mode allows you to create many single-file torrents by selecting 1 torrent for each file, and specifying the directory containing the source
files. The rest of the procedure is exactly the same as it is in the Simple Mode. |
